01

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some make the site work. Others measure how it is used. We split ours into those two groups.

02

Cookies we always use

These are strictly necessary, so they are set without asking:

  • seoflock_session: keeps you signed in. Removed when you sign out or after it expires.
  • seoflock_oauth: a short-lived code that protects the Connect Google step from forgery. Lasts a few minutes.
  • seoflock_consent: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. Lasts up to 6 months.
  • Theme setting (browser storage): remembers light or dark mode.

03

Analytics cookies (only if you accept)

On public pages (home, pricing, sign-in and policies) we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It only loads after you click Accept. If you decline, nothing is set and nothing is sent to Google Analytics.

  • _ga: tells returning visitors apart. Lasts up to 2 years.
  • _ga_ followed by an ID: keeps session state. Lasts up to 2 years.

Google Analytics receives your IP address (shortened), the pages you view and basic device and browser details. We do not use analytics inside the signed-in app, and we do not use advertising cookies.

04

Your choices

You can change your choice at any time. Declining or withdrawing consent also removes the analytics cookies from this browser.

Browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking the necessary cookies stops sign-in from working.
